Macaroons

I heard this song on the radio while driving home from a gig last month, and since then I sometimes find myself absent-mindedly humming the melody.

I just found your blog today while looking for a transcript for “Those Who Chant” by Walter Bishop, Jr. I love it! I’m lucky to have found your blog. Can you recommend similar blogs? That is, blogs with transcriptions in standard notation?

Hi Matt, thanks for checking out the site. I’ve found a few sites of transcriptions while searching the web (though I often prefer to write things out from scratch, mostly because the best way to improve your ear is to do the work yourself). These include saxopedia.com and freejazzinstitute.com. I personally like transcriptions with some analysis or context provided, such as can be found on the pages of artists I respect like stevekhan.com or ethaniverson.com
